It looks like J. Cole is ready to serve new music before the year is over.
As we already know, the rapper has been teasing something coming from his alter-ego KiLL edward for a while now. kiLL edward was the only guest appearance on the rapper’s last album KOD. It was initially thought to be a mystery artist until it was revealed later that it’s Cole’s alter-ego.
In April, it returned to Twitter after about 16 months with the the cryptic tweet, “IG – healEDWARDdontkill” which asked fans to tune into the private Instagram account. At that time, it only accepted about 8 followers.

Today, we have an update for the first time in 6 months. kiLL edward took to Instagram stories and teased that new music will arrive before the end of the year. “Damn been off for awhile but ima make sure we end 2020 something special,” the first story said. “Stay tuned hope y’all ready,” said the second one. See them below.
At this point, it’s hard to say what music is coming and what form we will get it in — an album credited to J. Cole or the alter-ego, KiLL edward. We gotta “stay tuned.”
