Knxwledge Spotlights Female Rappers on New Mixtape

Featuring remixes of songs and viral freestyles from Megan Thee Stallion, Flo Milli, and more.

Another week, another mixtape drop from Knxwledge.

Shared with the caption, “PROTEKT ALL QUEENS,” the producer’s latest WrapTaypes release spotlights game-changing and unsung female rappers, including Megan Thee Stallion, Flo Milli, Three 6 Mafia‘s Gangsta Boo, and more. It follows a sequel to the new VGM mixtape series, which takes video game soundtracks as its sample source and lines up damn-well with the producer’s revamped Twitch channel, where you can find him live-streaming his gaming sessions and teasing new music throughout the week.

But, of course, one drop would never do. Ahead of this month’s edition of Bandcamp Friday, Knx also went live with the pre-orders for an upcoming vinyl package of the first two volumes of his Meek Mill remix tapes. The test pressings, limited to 100 copies with variant screen printed covers, have already sold out. However, you can reserve your copy of the standard pressing via Stones Throw and Bandcamp today.

And there’s plenty more on the horizon. The producer contributed a pair of suites to a forthcoming solo project from Ohio funk legend and recent Stones Throw signee, Steve Arrington. That album, Down to The Lowest Terms: The Soul Sessions, is set to arrive on September 18th and pre-orders are already underway.
